ODYSSEY Extreme Series Batteries

High Cranking Power and Deep-Cycle Capability

ODYSSEY® Extreme Series™ batteries combine strong engine-cranking capability with deep-cycle reserve power. Even at very low temperatures, Extreme Series batteries can provide engine-cranking pulses in excess of 2250 amps for five seconds and can handle up to 400 charge-discharge cycles at 80% depth of discharge.

99.99% Pure Lead Plate Construction

ODYSSEY Extreme Series batteries use flat plates made from 99.99% pure lead rather than conventional lead alloy. Pure lead plates can be manufactured thinner, allowing more plates to fit inside the battery. Increased plate surface area helps provide greater power output and energy storage capability.

Absorbed Glass Mat Technology

ODYSSEY Extreme Series batteries use Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology to contain the electrolyte. Their densely packed flat-plate construction reduces unused internal space and provides additional plate surface area while allowing flexible installation orientations.

Packed With Pure Lead Power

ODYSSEY Performance Series batteries also use flat plates made from 99.99% pure lead. The thinner pure-lead plates allow more plates and greater plate surface area to fit inside the battery, helping deliver dependable power when it is needed.

ODYSSEY Battery Chargers

ODYSSEY battery chargers are designed to safely charge ODYSSEY batteries as well as compatible 12-volt AGM and flooded lead-acid batteries. These chargers provide an automatic charging solution for maintaining batteries in off-road vehicles, recreational vehicles, powersports equipment, and other applications that may spend extended periods between uses.

Depending on the model, ODYSSEY chargers may feature fully automatic multi-stage charging, digital charging controls, LED charge monitoring, battery fault indicators, and multiple charging amperages for different battery sizes and applications.
