Momentum – M205 RCV Shafts Update

Over the last 20 years, I have done numerous projects that I ran similar to how this one was supposed to go. I think my reputation and standards that I have held not only for myself  but also for the benefit of the Nissan community,  have historically spoken for themselves. Otherwise, we probably wouldn’t be in this project right now. I take pride in my work, my place in the industry and my reputation. The delays in this project and my need to take care of myself in the way I needed to over the last year was completely unprecidented in my lifetime. The communication to you during that time has left a lot to be desired and I sincerely apologize. It was not my intention and was not without reason. This isn’t an excuse but there is substantial context that lead up to this.  I don’t take this lightly. In short, I was being covertly & severely manipulated and psycologically abused by a family of narcissistic people for a time in the order of about 5 years.  To say that it was very stressful and confusing is an understatement. I’m typically a high capacity worker and parallel processor, but over the last 5 years my capacity to think and function on that level was diminished. I would classify the severity of the situation on the extreme end of the scale. Once the people that were causing these issues exited, is when my nervous system crashed out. During that time the old web server and phone system crashed too. I expereienced severe nervous system whiplash, complete shutdown, and was severely sleep deprived. This resulted in many months of severe all-day panic attacks, I couldn’t sleep while being exhausted and wanting keep the business together. The trauma had a severe effect on me even being able to set foot back in my office for quite some time. I have been in weekly therapy for Complex PTSD for the last year. The therapy helped me make sense of what happened to me and get back on my feet. After a few false starts getting back to work, I’m confidently back to working full time and my ability to function at a high level is coming back unlike I’ve had in years.

I never wanted to leave this project lingering and I hope you can understand that I was simply not functional. For once in my life I had no choice but to take care of myself first. Historically I run this business like an absolute machine, top priority no excuses. I’m extremely embarassed and also very sorry for this project going the way it has to this point. The good news is, things are moving forward.

Here’s the Scoop:
A few months ago I had reached out to RCV for an update. They had informed me that they would be cutting all 3 lenghts of M205 shafts as a single batch but the measurements that I had provided them for the V8 Pathfinder shafts weren’t a good substitute for having an actual OEM Pathfinder M205 shaft for reference. Keep in mind I did send them a brand new OEM Titan M205 shaft last year and provided measurements for the other 2 lengths. 2 weeks ago I went to order a new Pathfinder OEM shaft from Nissan to find out that they are discontinued. I was able to locate one in a salvage yard, had it shipped to me, and now I have that shaft reshipped and on the way to RCV. It’s due to be delivered to RCV middle of next week.
Once it’s delivered, I expect to have concrete facts for everyone waiting on this project’s completion and will be doing a better job keeping you guys updated.

I am back in the office full time getting back on top of things. Feel free to send me an e-mail or give me a call at 909-547-4651 which also rolls over to my mobile if I’m not as my desk and is open till 6PM PST.

Again, I sincerely apologize for the severe delay and I appreciate your understanding.
