Nissan M226 Diff Cover – Nissan Titan, Xterra, Frontier

The Nissan M226 Diff Cover by Blue Torch Fab is the latest in beefy Nissan diff covers and is only available here at Rugged Rocks. The Nissan M226 Diff cover is designed with pure function in mind. Like all of the Kryptonite Series Diff Covers the Nissan M226 diff cover is fabricated with 1/4 inch steel plate for the cover and has 3/8 inch steel ring for the base. With a 3/8 inch thick steel ring the cover is built to resist “peel up” as you drag your diff over rocks and other terrain. The Nissan M226 diff cover has a fill plug. The fill plugs have a cnc machined boss that extends out to protect the plug.

All diff covers are shipped unpainted. All diff covers are shipped with new bolts and a fill plug for models that require one.

To get the first batch going, pre-orders are being taken. 10 Pre-Orders are needed by 11-19-08. if the 10 pre-order limit is not met, refunds will be issued on 11-21-08.

2008 SEMA Show

I attended the 2008 SEMA Show in Vegas again this year. SEMA is the Specialty Equipment Manufacture Association and deals with all and any aftermarket Automotive products. The show is huge. There are 11 sections that take up every bit of the Vegas convention center. This is a business to business show and no products are sold over the counter contrary to Pomona Off-Road Expo which is a consumer show. The vendors want to show off their new products and discuss plans, promotions, etc. with buyers.

I spent the entire day just in the Off-Road section. I grabbed a few snap shots of products that caught my eye.

Hi-lift has a new product to secure your Hi-lift to a rack or bar. It was designed to clamp around a square bar or a round pipe of various sizes. It will clamp onto round bars from 1″ to 3″ in diameter. This is accomplished by two product sets. The small one covers 1″-2″ and the large set covers 2″ – 3″.
