Oh Boy! This just has to happen. There IS a market for this product. The 4.10 and/or 4.56 gearing for M226, M205 and R180 would be guarenteed sells for you.
Definitely interested … waiting (with baited breath) to see what comes of these announcements. Matching rear gears for what’s available (possibly) for the front options – r180 & m205, both – would be a big seller, I would imagine.
I am running 35′s on my 06 Frontier Nismo, so I could really use these in 4.10s in my M226 and R180. Have to agree with the other comments, I think they would be big sellers!
4.10′s would be excellent for both the M226 and the R180. It opens up a lot of possibilities lift and tire wise. Plus, as said, they’d be a good seller.
These would be great. But only if you make a matching front set for us 4wd guys. 4.10′s are for me but 4.56′s i’m sure would sell just by reading posts on the forums.
Extremely interested In a stronger gear set even if it’s stock ratio. I don’t off road but drag race frequently, A little piece of mind knowing my gears will hold up would be awesome!
Even stronger axles for us 08 titan owners would be great!
There is a void in the Nissan Titan aftermarket and the first company to market will be met with a land slide of sales from Titan owners who Drag , Rock Crawl or Prerun not to mention those who lift and install large tires for looks alone.
at the moment the only solution is a diff shop in Sun Valley Ca. who modifies components to make a gear set from another application work or WFO which will build a custom Dana 60 with the Titan ends so the sensors work. If you provide this product I guarantee you sales will be overwhelming from a sector deprived from a much needed gear swap. There is no others , none providing gear sets for the Titan community, all sales from around the world will be yours.
I would most likely get the 4:10′s for a Titan 4×4 at some point, if they are not substantially higher in price than those offered for other brands of trucks.
My next tire purchase, (Fall ’09), will be 34′s maximum due to the lack of gears. So it will likely be a couple of years from now before I’d buy them. Hope it happens.
Steve
Am I buying new gears? Yes. I bought a Titan XE in 2004 long before picking up a travel trailer. While I was tempted to simply drop the Titan and pick up a 3/4 truck, I hate to part with a vehicle that has been pretty good to me. I’m working my way through upgrades like upgraded suspension components, gauges, etc. The rear differential is the weak link on the Titans. This means picking up a TrueTrac, but I hate the thought of dropping one in without upgrading the ring and pinion at the same time. Honestly, 3.73 would be fine for me, but if 4.10 was available, I’d just try to balance things a bit by running bigger tires. Having followed the Titan crowd, 4.10s will fly off the shelf.
The Titans gears are really lacking from the factory. With the ability to upgrade gears many owners would be able to do some of the modifications they were unable to do before. I think there is a huge market for these gears and I want a set!
This is something i would love, i have an 08 with a lift and 35″ tires with 22″ wheels. Gears would make my day and please please follow through with this ASAP. Thanks
I need a ring and pinion for my 2005 Nissan Titan Se. I have a 6 inch fabtech lift and 35 in tires. My truck lost power and speed. Please help!! I heard no there is no ring and pinion for a Titan yet. When will it be avalible?
Move me to the top of your list for a 4:56 set for 4WD!
I have a desperate situation. My Titan has 40 inch tires and I tow. Even with a supercharger, a tune and other performance mods this truck has difficulty towing my 8k lbs. travel trailer. I’ll have to part with either the truck or the trailer unless someone produces a gear set.
How about a pre-production program where folks pay up front as you produce the product? I’ll put my money down now! I’m sure others will participate.
NEED IT NOW!!! i work at a nissan dealership and own a titan god knows how many times people have been looking for these as well as the front…
please sir may i have some gears
The only thing that i’ve been able to make sense of is that the nissan industry hasn’t been as big has the jeep and toyota aftermarket in the past and considering the present state of the economy, most manufactures are hesitant to venture off into new aftermarket territory.
I towing a Toy Hauler and I need the gears. While the 5.6 has very good power it’s very limited by the highway gear ratios. I was even thinking of going to 2wd. Really need 4wd gears. 4.10′s would be awesome.
Without making gears for the front diff you are leaving us 4wd guys in the dark still. We need front and rear gears for 4wd. I’ll def buy them then. No question.
im with everyone else. i mean look how many customers you would already have. and then imagine what it would be like once word REALLY got out!!! front and rear 4.10s for the 04 Titan would be literally a dream come true! i mean just tell me where to sign.
Just saw that the rear gears were released for 2004 to 2007 Titans. When will the front gears be released for the 4×4 owners? I have a 2009 Titan and need new front and rear gears.
4.10 and 4.56 gears for the rear are already available for the M226 diff. The fronts should be done in a couple months.
Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.
I have an 07 with a 6″ lift and35″ tires. I have the non-big tow package. i am changing to a truetrac diff next week. Should I change my gears also? My truck is much harder on gas in the city…not so much on the highway.
Thanks
I found the OE gear cutter for H233B gears. once i get my hands on them, Retail price will be around $250 for 5.14, 5.57 & 5.87. These are brand new gears from the OE gear cutter. I have a source for 5.42's but are Non-OE and are far too expensive. 4.8... […]
Bummer about the brackets. I was planning on the Waggy D44 as well. I highly doubt I will be able to find another set of H233b gears for $250. Are you going to have the option to purchase the frame side brackets separately? […]
